patient portal access & forms
We know our clients have busy lives…which is why we use TherapyPortal for scheduling and messaging. Your patient portal provides 24/7 access to your account, allowing you to schedule, cancel, or change your appointments at a time and place that works best for you.
Dr. Walick does not provide online scheduling for clients.
Messaging
TherapyPortal also provides a secure messaging platform. Your provider will discuss their messaging policy during your intake appointment. TherapyPortal allows clients to communicate securely with their providers outside their scheduled sessions.
Scheduling
When you first become a client at The Arete Center, we will create a TherapyPortal account. After your initial 90-minute intake appointment, you can schedule appointments and communicate directly with your psychologist through your patient portal account.

If you don’t have a portal account or have forgotten your password, don't hesitate to get in touch with our office at 720-683.6997 or welcome@thearetecenter.com. Please note that support for the patient portal is only available during regular office hours.
No Crisis Services
Please note: Our clinic does not provide urgent or crisis services, so if you or your loved one is experiencing a mental health emergency, please go to your nearest emergency room. For a list of crisis services, please click here.

standard notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost Under the No Surprises Act. Under the law, healthcare providers must give patients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. The Arete Center’s fees are available on our website and also provided with the intake paperwork.

2026 rates
We are committed to offering you and your family high-quality, effective, and responsive psychological services while keeping our rates in line with those of other psychologists with the same expertise and training in the Denver area. The rates listed are effective on January 1, 2025.
The providers at The Arete Center are not contracted with any insurance companies. We do, however, provide superbills upon request. Please check with your carrier to see if they provide out-of-network benefits.

If you have notified our office or your provider by email or phone, you can complete the following release of information form and send it to our office to obtain medical records. Records will be released only to approved parties.
Electronic release forms are also available in TherapyPortal. Please contact your provider or the office manager if you would like us to share a release of information form with you in your TherapyPortal account.
